HELLO, GOODBYE

If you're reading this... wow. Who are you? Ian? Chris? Andrei, or Monica maybe? I know for a fact that barely anyone read my travel blog, and especially not here. This was my best stab at organising things into years and then trips that I could find, and I was never happy about it.

Anyway. Enough of that! I'm not here to eulogise my own poor UX choices. I'm here to say... my travel blog has a new home! Not content with blog.darrenf.org or trips.darrenf.org, I give you darrenf.blog !!

Almost everything from previous holidays has been migrated and I'm working on the rest (though some may be unrecoverable, thanks to Adobe; we'll see).

I'm also going to start writing again. As I type, it's early October 2026 and I've got 3 solo holidays booked before the end of this year, not to mention a few blog-worthy things next year. So this is my public† declaration that I'm back! But I'm not here. In fact, nothing will be here in a little while. This note is the last thing I'll post, then in a few weeks time, I'll redirect this host to the new one and we'll never speak of Dropmark again.
